No. Much less.

If I had 50 cents for every math question I got right, I'd have $6.30 by now.

Hey Vanya!

It's getting close. Do you see a theme?

500 quatloos to anybody who knows where that '42' picture was taken. And another 500 to anybody who knows its significance. (It does fall into the baseball theme.)

It *looks* like a picture of an iPhone up against a fence...but it's more likely a really really large LCD with flagpoles behind it. Which still doesn't really help because it's...well...it's as nondescript as an iPhone up against a fence.

So I'll just guess Dodger Stadium because :|

Well, 42 is Jackie Robinson, and CitiField has a number of Robinson oriented exhibits, so I'll guess it has something to do with that.

It is Jackie Robinson's number. That is the correct significance.

It is not an iPhone up against a fence. It is a crop from this picture here:

The day that Jim (trainman) and I went to the game, they were advertising Jackie Robinson Day, coming up the next day.

And, where did Jim and I see the game? You got it! Dodger Stadium.

So, 500 quatloos each to Volante and alietr.

In 2014, there will be nobody (in MLB) wearing #42 anymore.

In any event, I am in the final stages of testing the grouping of images into subsets for rotation in the randomizer.

By the way, for anybody reading this who considers sports not to be one of their strong points:

There are only a very small number of jersey numbers or uniform numbers that you should be expected to remember. That's one of them.

(A couple of others: Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky.)

...by which I assume you mean Jordan's 'primary' number, and not the post-comeback 45.

Well, I did say it wasn't an iPhone, merely that it bore a strong resemblance to one, which it does!! This has not been disputed yet!

Granted.

My project is pretty much done if anybody else wants to try it out. Actually, even if nobody does, it is.

To randomize your avatar, or simply to create and store files for use as avatars, you can go to http://www.jboard.tv/avatar (you must be logged in). Once you have uploaded at least one image, you can click the button (marked 'click here' or somesuch) to activate it. If you have any questions or experience any wonkiness, let me know, either in this thread or by PM.

Actually, we were there on Jackie Robinson Day, April 15.

In my picture the date is almost perfectly clear. I read the 5 as a 6 and I knew we were there on the 15th. Jackie Robinson Day must have had quite the effect on me seeing as I didn't remember it.
