It was a shock that Beastie missed the Treaty of Ghent question.

Game Show Kingdom needs to learn the difference between a logo and plain text.

At the risk of being a pig, I must say, Brooke looks (even more) stunning with her hair straightened.

Agreed. I think Brooke Burns is a very attractive lady myself.

Count me as one of Brooke's fans. I think she's stunningly beautiful, a little on the skinny side, but I'm not one of those folks who automatically hates the rail-thin people. And she does a great job of reading those clues quickly, and engaging in witty banter with the contestants and the Beast. I think if I were on the show I'd have a hard time concentrating being that close to her. I'd probably turn into a Raj Koothrapali.

Speaking of Raj, I recently watched that episode where Raj Dhuwalia beat the Beast. He was IMPRESSIVE! He won $120,000 basically by himself, and didn't just win, he crushed the Beast. I think the final score was 19-10. I think if he were to compete on Jeopardy! now versus back in 2002, he would do much better, maybe even have a Ken Jennings-type run.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Vanya use her as one of his images.

What's always surprised me about the show is that Brooke actively roots for the contestants. You would think she's required to be neutral, but apparently not.

If you see the commercials, they try to play it off as Brooke and the Beast playing good cop bad cop roles. I think rooting for the contestants is part of the good cop act and the Beast is the bad guy.

Bradley Walsh on the British version also actively roots for the contestants, and he doesn't need teeth that look like Mr. Ed's to do it. He does another thing I like: he knows he's not super sharp, but he knows when he knows an answer, and he hopes contestants can spot the gimmes, too. And when they don't, he gives a little look like, "How'd this person get on???"

I do like her wardrobe. I had my doubts when I first heard she was hosting, but I think she does a good job, so she's won me over. I'm not one to automatically hate on someone just because I'm not a Barbie. ;)

Auditions for Season 4 are up and running. Anyone else trying for this? I'm going, should be doing the 10 AM New York slot.

Bonne chance! You certainly could do no worse than the lamers that have gone against him lately. I'm started to consider watching AYSTAFG? re-runs.

Try watching Idiot Test after it tomorrow. Now there's a group of contestants where the staffers must have fun with the testing process to get the right candidates. You appeared on J!? Out. You came in third on Wheel? Out. You left with zero on Millionaire? Out. You usually get one or two in "Hocus Focus"? http://kingfeatures.com/features/puzzle ... cus-focus/ Stick around.

What fermented cabbage dish did Captain Cook give to his crew to prevent scurvy?

The correct answer:
Spoiler
sauerkraut
The guess by a contestant:
Spoiler
kimchee
Props to Brooke Burns for being able to read her way through the Naked Chef/stroganoff question while staying composed.

I think I heard on the preview that next week is the season finale. Will that make 9 eps for season 3? How many more were taped?
