You Know Yo've Been Watching Too Much J! When ...

Post by dhkendall »

Immediately after catching up on the Board, you go to Facebook and see the following status update from a friend:
dhkendall's friend wrote:?12620 - the last 600 just about killed me
And you parse that as:

" $12,620 [playing along at home] - the last $600 [clue] just about killed me."

(Going on her wall enlightened me that she's posting her daily walking progress, 12620 is her daily steps.)

I always enjoyed when a contestant on Win Ben Stein's Money did this; it happened often enough that they had a specific rule for that situation (the offending contestant would receive a dunce cap to wear :D).

...you hear that cliche about "hearing the Think Music in your head when someone asks you a question" and go, "Wait, you mean there are times it's NOT playing in your head?"

When I was in high school, I played on our college bowl team, and I used to answer in the form of a question. And that was even before I went on the show, hahaha. My teammates thought I was annoying, but the moderators found it funny, and making the moderators happy never hurts. :)
