I wasn't really paying attention. Which question did they go back and give Keith credit for? I'm hoping it was the Tom Clancy question. I said the same thing he did.

Also the boards today were hard.

Yes, Keith got a reversal on the Clancy game.

Bamaman: I think the FJ! clue wording should be: "It was one of those pictures... so contrived that the eyes follow you...beneath it" was this 5-word quote.

It's one of those clues where anyone playing it off the post will want it exactly as written as any nuance or interpretation can make a difference.

Thanks to local TV station lunacy, (or perhaps my own) I'll have to wait to see this game.

Maria's round number FJ wager had me morbidly curious, so I looked up her previous games. Can anybody explain this FJ wager? http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=595

Maria. Uhhhhhhh, if you could stop with the "uhhhhhhh" before every sentence, that'd be great.

Upon the unveiling of FJ, I was utterly on the wrong track. I was thinking of the billboard from The Great Gatsby and racking my brain for a five-word arc phrase.
"Who said anything about a horse?!"

"Also, how the bleep did I forget Russia even exists?!"- TPH

Maria's interview was great, but her rampant "uh"s not so much.

4 and 11 right. No, that's not backward. $10,800 of my $12200 Coryat came from DJ!

Lach Trash on Transfer, but I said "pixel" on the P in JPEG, and have never heard of COBOL.

Easy $2000 clues: Schrödinger, alleviate.

Ran "V" in the Middle.

"Oh, that's easy. That's that quote in The Da Vinci Code. So something the something of man. What the heck are the other words in it, though?" (FJ! music ends) "'So Dark the Con of Man' is SIX words, you moron." Do you see yet why I don't trust my brain during FJ!, when it apparently can no longer handle a concept as simple as "five"?

For the life of me,neither my wife nor I can even figure out what FJ was asking for, even after knowing the answer. Were the quotes in the wrong spot?

Picked up Lach trash: ""Kenya", "Sherman Antitrust Act", plus the entire computer category: "Transfer", "Real Time", "Photographic", "Denial", and "Business"

Didn't get FJ.

Good lord. Was she like that during her original run, or was it just nerves/rust? I don't remember her. When she took the lead, and there was a strong possibility of seeing/hearing her again in the next round, I was hoping it was the nerves...

No clue for FJ. Been too long since I read it, didn't remember the quote.

I should've picked up on the sore fingers hint, but without any quotation marks or other specific info (number of games, specific subtitle), there was nothing to point to Splinter Cell, and not R6/Ghost Recon etc, so I was happy with the reversal.

Hahahahaha omgggggggg just about to make my post during the credits, and then I see Dan's head.

THAT'S THE KIND OF STUFF I'M GOING TO MISS. I know the big kahuna's coming next month, but this week was just incredible. Absolutely the best week in Jeopardy history for me. This was a trip down memory lane for the past decade of my life... seeing these players that I know and love return to Jeopardy not only made me remember their runs, but also what I was doing and where I was in my life during their runs. It's like... "hey, there's Michael! I remember I had just turned 18 when he was originally on the show." "Oh, it's Vijay! I had just moved to Raleigh when he started his run!" Okay okay I'm rambling now... sorry. I just enjoyed this week so much. It was everything I had hoped it would be. Thanks to all of you that played this week for making the past five days so much fun for this hardcore Jeopardy fan. :)

Here is how Orwell wrote it:

On each landing, opposite the lift shaft, the poster with the enormous face gazed from the wall. It was one of those pictures which are so contrived that the eyes follow you about when you move. BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU, the caption beneath it ran.

Here is how the writers made the clue about it: "It was one of those pictures... so contrived that the eyes follow you...beneath it" was this 5-word quote.

Yes, lack of sample size. Also variance changes depending on average Coryat's.

*shrug* The boards felt a bit easier today than earlier in the week, plus that Duke DD (I'm sure you were thrilled with that one) was free money, too easy even for the 800 box. The clue value and the ease of the category had me yelling "7000!!" at the screen, but she added the extra 100 just to spite me. And to tie for the lead. Probably that.
