Had no clear idea on Friday, ultimately went with Fallingwater just to have an answer. Originally thought of Mount Vernon, but I knew the years involved didn't make sense. Graceland would have never hit my thought process.

Hungary + Soviets/revolution = 1956. Chess (the musical) has that permanently etched in my brain. Heck, even the Swedish version sings that year in English.

Seinfeld (I had some doubts about Home Improvement being #1 in '94 after the clue was revealed, so I went online... Can't find any indivual week's ratings, but Home Improvement was NOT #1 for the '94 season or any other, Seinfeld was #1 in 1994.

Pres-related (I went with Monticello) after thinking about Waterfall... Went to looks for pics of Graceland; looks totally unfamiliar to me. I have seen pics of the pink Caddy before, and some of the other overrated fatso Elvis memorabilia, but not the mansion as far as I can remember.

For the 1993 - 1994 season the #1 show was 60 Minutes. While that show can be a joke sometimes it is not a sitcom. The #2 show for that season? Home Improvement making it a number one sitcom to fit the clue's wording.

Ditto.
Mount Vernon. I suppose I should've suspected it was too stodgy an answer, but Elvis associations didn't occur to me (despite having had a conversation the day before about Kurt Russell -- with whom I found myself in an elevator about two months ago -- Elvis's one-time co-star and master Elvis portrayer years after that).

Oh, well. After getting right 15 FJ's in a row I suppose I was due to be crossed up by the writers' lamentable penchant for pop culture clues.

I was traveling most of this week so I'm trying to get caught up. I have watched Monday's and Tuesday's quarterfinals of the Teen Tournament but I need to go back and figure out which contestant is Lumosityfan. I lost Wednesday's episode to a power outage but I plan to watch Thursday's and Friday's episodes today.

ETA: Thanks, Bamaman.
