Here's an article about Elisa (from before her appearance with an unusual amount of detail) which will probably make Austin Powers gnash his teeth. Actually, it may make a few people here gnash their teeth. Note how she turned down the first Call because it interfered with starting her new job, was told that she would not get called again during that go round, but then got the Call again two years later without auditioning again. http://www.timesleader.com/news/life/50 ... n-Jeopardy
I used to be AWSOP but wanted to be more theatrical.

Apologies if I missed this earlier in the thread, but Sara is the daughter of "the Nabibia guy" that Maggie references in pre-game training: https://www.thejewishnews.com/2014/09/2 ... he-family/

This is not really a surprise. They want a 50-50 male-female ratio on the show. While I don't think she was especially good, she was actually memorable, so I am surprised she didn't get picked sooner, especially given some of the dullards who do make it on.

Ah yes, I remember the Nabibia incident (sounds like an entry in the "Build Your Own Spy Novel Titles" category occasionally featured) and the contestant involved was even a somewhat regular on Sony for a time, and had a Nabibian Namibian flag as his avatar.

Allen Goodman is one of a handful of players who has competed against someone with the same last name; his co-challenger was Lowell Goodman. They entered FJ tied for second, and while Allen bet everything, Lowell held back $100 (maybe he was trying to give a little bit back to Allen for the Nabibia neg?). But Lowell had the sole get.
