I'm going to be travelling across Africa for most of July, so I'm hoping I don't get the call until August...

That was the case when I was on back in 2006. I taped in August, and though there was one more day of taping a week later, I ended up being the final televised contestant of the season.

They need to work around Chris Harrison's Bachelor/ette taping schedule.

They had been taping July/August until October/November with previous hosts, but with Terry last year, they did a summer schedule, and this year it's more compressed into 40 tape dates over 8 weeks.

I put a post on Rex Kramer's FB page to let him know his distinction for winning $125K on both Millionaire and J! is being challenged again. He survived the threats from Pam Mueller, Michael Rooney and Ken Jennings.

I suspect Rex has nothing to worry about. Millionaire's questions are so random in topic and difficulty, especially above the $50K mark, that getting much further than $50K will be a challenge. But I will try ...

If I had more vacation time I'd do it because I have family in the area and I'm only 200 miles southwest. Plus I'm not that versed in pop culture.

Random, yes, but who is better suited to deal with the randomness than you? If Millionaire keeps bringing in folks like Pam, Michael, Ken, and now you, someday the odds will fall out of my favor. I don't expect my singular distinction to survive your Millionaire appearance, but, on the bright side, who better to share it with?

Willing able and available at the drop of a hat. While those aren't my strong points either, those categories are good for the audience.

However I get 83% of all questions, with over 50% on level two questions. You'd have a really good shot at a high dollar question if I was there.

I love all the people offering to help out despite not being good at the categories that Leszek identified at weaknesses.

Clearly the only move here is to fly in Rex Kramer and make him the Plus One, so that he can assist in adding someone to his exclusive club.
