Re: The Rankest Thread Imaginable
I just want to say I'm perfectly content with my title as is. In one of my early sonypictures posts, I said I'd definitely stay around until my dad aired, I'd probably stay until I got on, and I'd likely stay well afterward. I feel like my title fits that idea.

Re: The Rankest Thread Imaginable
My wife just finished watching the series Edward the King, a 13-hour biography of Edward VII, of which approximately 6 hours is occupied by the recitation of the titles of the likes of Edward, Queen Victoria, and Kaiser Wilhelm II. In that spirit, I would like the title "Jeopardy Champion, Loyal Jeopardista, 2006 ToC Finalist, Superchampion Nemesis, Defender of Humanity, and Tax Attorney".
Also, I demand that these be hereditary titles.

You sure those last two titles don't contradict each other?Rex Kramer wrote:My wife just finished watching the series Edward the King, a 13-hour biography of Edward VII, of which approximately 6 hours is occupied by the recitation of the titles of the likes of Edward, Queen Victoria, and Kaiser Wilhelm II. "Jeopardy Champion" for me, please. And make sure mine isn't hereditary; my kid can win his own damn game of Jeopardy! in 20 years or so.

When my reign as JBoarder of the Month is over you may note me as:
- Founder of the Royal House of JBoarder of the Month, or
- JBoarder of the Month emeritus, or
- Jeopardy! contestant. (I showed up and showed on the show that showed on 10/27/2008. I showed them!)
Thank you kindly.

I move that to Rex's titles shall be appended "Lord High Everything Else."Rex Kramer wrote:My wife just finished watching the series Edward the King, a 13-hour biography of Edward VII, of which approximately 6 hours is occupied by the recitation of the titles of the likes of Edward, Queen Victoria, and Kaiser Wilhelm II. Fun! You can change mine, I guess. Jeopardy Roadkill. Or Contestant, same difference.

Like him, only Three-Time.demomoke wrote:Although "Valued Contributor" is all well and good, I feel I should mark the fact that I just ended a second unsuccessful stint in the pool. Could I be called "Two-Time Swimmer"?

I also like this idea - Jeopardy TOC'er would look nice next to my name, but I'd prefer 2010-B College Champion. Maybe we can hyphenate it like a hip woman of today.

We don't need no stinking titles...
...but if you're handing them out, my bona fides are in my signature.

I thought about "Flash in the Pan", but I think "Jeopardy Champion" would be nice. Thank you.

Swimming in the Jeopardy pool for the third time; fingers just beginning to pucker and a bit of water in one ear. Most recent audition on May 20, 2011, in DC.

Re: The Rankest Thread Imaginable
This thread serves to remind me that I forgot to celebrate my Jeopardy anniversary on Monday. I became a Jeopardy Champion 22 years ago. If you missed it, maybe your local TV station preempted my episode for breaking news about the San Francisco earthquake, just as Game 3 of the World Series was about to start at Candlestick Park. The Oakland A's eventually won every game and retired as undefeated champions. Unfortunately, I did not. But I still have hopes of being in the J! Archive some day.

Best guesser works best for me.
