The Venn diagram overlap is not 100%, ya know.
You're talking to the man who knows everything, how can he expect anything less from his players?

I'm surprised that only three of us got all of them right. My moneying was pretty embarrassing given how I finished behind someone who missed two.

I would have finished around 3rd instead of 14th if I hadn't misremembered the last Cliff Clavin category. I had "virgins" instead of "celibacy". Missed it by that much! I also blanked on #12, failing to remember Alex's memorable FJ response/sponsor plug.

I confused Alex's answers with Ken's and said FedEx.
I also missed the online text time question, but that's understandable, since I've never taken the online test. (In my day, we had paper tests, and we liked it!)

If you played my MLB All-Star Game quiz I have to apologize for making a pretty big error on Question 10. I had conflated two incidents in my mind so that someone could easily think I meant either John Kruk or Larry Walker. I decided to accept both answers since it was my error. I tried to find some way to make a note of this on the results page but couldn't figure out how to do it.

I will try to be more careful in the future.

I finished 19th on the Jeopardy quiz. I would have come in 14th if I'd been given credit for question #8. I put "Who is Sarah?" and was marked wrong. I was also marked wrong, which I got right and marked right on #3, which I missed, so those balanced out.

Ha, I didn't even realize those were two different incidents. I could clearly remember Kruk tugging on his shirt to show how freaked out he was, and then turning around to bat from the other side. Not until I just watched the videos did I even believe you that it was Walker who switched sides, crazy how the mind works.

Take a break from the celebrity drama and focus instead on international drama! Border conflicts, due Saturday.

Just might be. Last week, while watching the credits of one of the films in the quiz it hit me that there's a lot of good trivia connections lurking therein, so I figured I'd give this theme a whirl and came up with a few dozen potential questions.

I love paying attention to the credits of old movies to see names of people in smaller acting or production roles who only became famous years later or others who we only know of broadly from film history classes or books.

Note to self: Chris Hoy is Scottish. If I'd known that, there wouldn't have been a coin toss for me to lose.

Other note to self: It's okay for your guess to seem ghoulish even if it's wrong -- only one person will see it. And the Isle of Man is a lawless wasteland littered with corpses, apparently.

I could have at least had all 5 right, even if I would have moneyed the wrong ones.

I forgot to check the site for a couple weeks, and I missed one about Weird Al's polka medleys (mostly). I thought some people here might be interested in that.

#3 is almost always the first song I think of when I think of his polka medleys, as it was when I saw the subject of that quiz. And I knew what the last one was going to be before I listened to it.
