Heading to the turn... amen corner:

Question #11
Jack Nicklaus has won more Masters titles than anyone, six total, and has earned the nickname, the "Golden Bear". Just as William Shakespeare is considered the greatest playwright ever, many consider Jack Nicklaus the greatest golfer ever. In honor of Jack Nicklaus: a few quotes from Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" contain the word "gold", name a word from such a quotation besides "gold"; or give a stage direction from a Shakespeare play which has the word "bear" (need full quote). (many possible answers)

Here are your answers:

Singletons (-2)

Greed - geolawyerman

Silver - AgentSeto

Doubletons (-1)

Exit, pursued by a bear - gamawire; jev15

Glitters - ElendilPickle; patkav

Not - colonialrampage; Woof

PAR (E)

PAR - 9021amyers; ChexMix; Rusty's in the Club; clprez

Incorrect Answers (+3)
Bear downstage - Rackme32

Note: There is only one "bear" stage direction ("exit, pursued by a bear") from "The Winter's Tale".

Masters Update

As it stands here with just a few holes left to play in tournament, Rusty's in the Club is on a record setting pace at -18. Keep in mind, the tournament record is -18 (270) set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and Jordan Spieth in 2015. jev15 has made a great charge and sits in second place at -13. That means that with a five stroke lead by Rusty, jev15 will need a Singleton plus a incorrect answer by Rusty to tie at the end of round four. AgentSeto sits in third place at -11.

Finally, we have arrived! Excitement for some, relief for others. The final stretch of holes:

Question #12
Last but not least, four-time Masters champion Arnold Palmer is such a legend that he even has a drink named after him the "Arnold Palmer" (half iced tea, half lemonade). In honor of Arnold Palmer, name one of the top 10 selling tea companies in the world, or one of the companies that produced one of the 19 brands of lemonade that were subject to a 2013 taste test by the Good Housekeeping Institute. Note: these tea companies sell bags of tea that can be used for making hot tea or iced tea. (26 possible answers)

Thanks to Ryno for a VERY interesting format. Just like a golf championship, it put a premium on avoiding the traps (aka SHEEP) and making the unique shot.

Tough match - thanks to my competitors. Luckily, there were questions in my wheelhouse (such as recently being in Lisbon and remembering watching that Columbo episode live MANY years back) and I managed to avoid the wool. Really enjoy thinking differently - I believe it's even more fun than just plain trivia and obscure knowledge.

Will be doing my first LL soon, so we'll see how that goes.

Again, thanks to all....and I hear that Omar the Tentmaker is working on my jacket as I type.
