Five shows and 8 hours, that's it. Last season was 7 nights and 9 hours.Bamaman wrote:Is that the entire season?

It's up against game seven of Penguins - Lightning and the Scripps Spelling Bee.... I'll watch it only if they archive it online.

You might want to ask one of the Penguins to post it for you.harrumph wrote:It's up against game seven of Penguins - Lightning and the Scripps Spelling Bee.... I'll watch it only if they archive it online.

Tonight we definitely have Jennings and (he's been posting on FB so I think this is spoilable) Ryan Chaffee for some J! star power; there may be some others as well.

Right off the bat they got something wrong. The called Ken Jeopardy's biggest winner. Isn't that Brad Rutter?

My DVR picked it up since I didn't delete the recording rule after last season. I'll wait a while before deleting them (and I might even watch) just in case anybody wants a copy.

Did they use some qualifier like "non-tournament"? If so, that'd be accurate.Bamaman wrote:Right off the bat they got something wrong. The called Ken Jeopardy's biggest winner. Isn't that Brad Rutter?

...but the senator, while insisting he was not intoxicated, could not explain his nudity.
If I had 50 cents for every math question I got right, I'd have $6.30 by now.

I forgot the exact phrasing, but they did not specify non-tourney or "most games won".bpmod wrote:My DVR picked it up since I didn't delete the recording rule after last season. I'll wait a while before deleting them (and I might even watch) just in case anybody wants a copy.

I bet Richard Mason enjoyed that.
But he would have enjoyed a chance to compete more.

Re: 500 Questions (Season 2) [Possible Spoilers]
Big change this year is there are three questions per category and 30 for the round. So you would hit 500 in the middle of a round. But it seems to be as slow paced as before and one hour shorter so we'll be lucky to see 300.
Not overly impressed with the new host.

Exactly, Same problem as series 1 -- the chances of anyone making it to 500 Q in the 8 hours they have is exactly zero.Bamaman wrote:Big change this year is there are three questions per category and 30 for the round. EDIT: OK, didn't know about the Lightning Round. That brings the chance up to "Golden State coming back from their 3-1 deficit" level.

Re: 500 Questions (Season 2) [Possible Spoilers]
The Lightning Round is probably the best change to happen to this show.
