The FJ! clue was home field advantage as I've seen that play [let's sarcastically say] just a few times in the past 30+ years. Stanford lost and John Elway was the quarterback. It's the kind of clue that should go 3/3 on the show even if a contestant was not born when the play occurred.
Earl made it look easy in cruising to another victory as even if Rob had solved both of the missed Daily Doubles it would not have been enough to be ahead of Earl. In the two seasons of champions returning to play Earl is just the fourth to get to five victories.
