Guessed Rhoda and Maude. Got my 70's sitcom spin offs confused.

Still hate the "John Nash" "title subject of Oscar film" FJ. That was a poorly worded clue.

Knew Nash and "A Beautiful Mind" (read the book recently), but the wording of FJ said to me that the person had to be mentioned by name in the title. If I had been a contestant, I would have been furious at this chicanery.

I knew the movie and the actor but couldn't think of the character's name.

Instead of saying "title subject", maybe they should have said something like "main subject" or "main character".

Thought of John Nash immediately but couldn't remember if A Beautiful Mind had won a Best Picture Oscar. Couldn't think of anyone else, though, so I stuck with Nash.

Titan & Narnia were instagets; I had no idea on the other two.

I guessed Gandhi for the John Nash question.

Hunley didn't ring a bell at all. Didn't know enough about Narnia to get Wednesday's--I think I said Middle Earth but I knew it was wrong. Western Sahara on Thursday. No problem with Nash, Candide, Rhoda, or Phyllis. Armenia was a guess--I wouldn't have buzzed in but I would have gotten it on a DD.

This is the first week (since I've been on JBoard at least) that I missed all five FJs. I knew Western Sahara (a disputed area) is not a member of the UN, but I couldn't think of anything else. I wouldn't have come up with Namibia. Do they still need our fondue sets?
I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.
