No guesses on any of the missed clues. I probably could have gone "pick a Beatles song" Tuesday, but didn't.
Had no clue Monday.
I'm not sure why I know the term "brass monkey," but I got that one.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

As of this writing, I am the only one who missed the Shakespeare clue. I'm a little surprised in that it isn't exactly the most common play you hear about.

I was disappointed that I missed the KJV clue. :(

Octopuses Garden the only Ringo song that came to me, but I knew it was wrong.

Initially thought of Anthony & Cleopatra Wed., but knew Julius Caesar preceded it timewise, then thought of T&C

Got as far as "saint air" on Thursday, but no further

Fourth 5/5 week of the season, although I just barely wrote three of them down in time: "Yellow Submarine," "Holy Ghost," and "Austria."

Tue - Rocky Raccoon
Thu - nightmare

Shostakovich would've been a DD get, but under normal play, I couldn't rule out Rachmaninoff or Prokofiev. (~40/30/30)
Brass Monkey would also have been a DD get, I've heard the phrase -somewhere- but it almost felt like something I made up until the reveal.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

Don't recognize the Robert Jordan series.
I will stipulate that I was "familiar" with brass monkey but not enough to know where it came from, what it meant, or, consequently, to ring in...

I've heard "freeze the balls off a brass monkey" somewhere, but I don't know where. Didn't get the clue though.

The expression "cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey" is very popular around here, but that is a far cry from 'brass monkey' being a meaning for cold.

So, 'brass monkey' as a term I am familiar with. But the clue had me looking dumbfounded at the TV.

Hungary instead of Austria.

Coryat average of 16,560 this week, which is only $300 higher than three weeks ago. Not so great but we'll get there eventually.

Lost a coin flip between "Yellow Submarine" and "With A Little Help From My Friends"
"Royal Wind" was the closest I could get to Holy Ghost
I have never heard the weather tie-in, but I am very familiar with that funky monkey

This was a blah week for me. Having grown up in Texas, the brass monkey clue for cold weather was Greek.

I think I only got Van Gogh right of the FJs, and "Time" of those three added clues.

Fun fact: Robert Jordan died before completing Wheel of Time and the series was finished by Brandon Sanderson who happened to be a college roommate of Ken Jennings.

If I've heard that phrase before, it didn't stick. Which is strange, since it sounds ridiculous.
