Who do you think bore the son that was kidnapped?
One of his European mistresses?
Madame de Pompadour? Amelia Earhardt?

That depends. Do you want the facts or the alternative facts?

I second that. Everybody knows Sardinia is a genus of fish.

Admittedly, it must be tough to handle 50 wrong answers a week without blundering into a patronizing comment or diss by accident. I'm sure he is trying to distance himself from some of his tropes that are so popular here, like 'no harm, no foul'. He will be missed.

Agreed; it wasn't a revelation at all. He should have said, "Sicily is another island."

Another 3 clues in the bag from recent studying. This wikipedia page on the elements has been really useful.

Cerulean blue was a good get, though it sounded to me like he said cerylian. Reminds me of Meryl's speech on cerulean blue from The Devil Wears Prada. (20 Oscar nominations! But isn't she just sooo overrated? )

I loved these boards!! Woulda coulda shoulda run Play Settings but I jumped all over Julius Caesar for "Actium" (doh!) then blanked out on The Miracle Worker. Got hung up on homestead & Alabama and Keller didn't register. Guessed wildly with "A Raisin in the Sun". The Sound and the Fury was even more of a wild guess, but I give him credit for saying anything.

I've been meaning to watch Guardians of the Galaxy!

TS: Cosi fan tutte, Palermo, harvester (WECIB), Mme de Pompadour, The Importance of Being Earnest (played Jack in an off-off-broadway production eons ago), A Doll's House (Laurie Metcalf & Chris Cooper coming to Broadway this spring in A Doll's House Part 2 a new play)

FJ: Amelia Earhart. NHO Anne Morrow :/

I know about harvesters thanks to hundreds of hours spent playing Dune II as a child on MS-DOS.

LT: "The Entertainer," Eureka College, Palermo, harvester, Ainu, The Miracle Worker (DD)

Considered Earhart, went with Leakey. Didn't know anything in particular about Mrs. Lindbergh.

Very late to the party here. I have a slight objection to the Cosi Fan Tutte clue. While it's true that the title "can" be translated as "Thus do they all", a better translation would be "Thus do all of the women" or "Women are like that", since the generic way to say "they" is tutti. I guess it's not surprising that they used Wikipedia's translation.
