Well they've never been in my kitchen, or my memory for this FJ.

nope

Had $88 - forgot Hamilton was on the ten, but remembered the 2. I've only dimly heard of A Confederacy of Dunces and I guess don't know my Swift either...
I knew nightshade but couldn't drag it to the front of my brain fast enough because foxglove got in the way (foxglove is the source of digitalis, so I always have to go thorough a little conversation in my head of which poison comes from which plant.) Had I been on the show, if I'd been lucky enough to win the buzzer race, I'd have said "What... is... fffnnnightshade?!". (And people would've thought I was about to utter an obscenity, but it really would have just been foxglove.)
I've probably handled a few $2s in the last 8 years when I used to handle cash at work, but not the last 2.

Confederacy of Dunces, Ship of Fools, Bag of Hammers, Box of Rocks, whatever. Just a wee bit too slow to pull that one out and secure the elusive perfecto. Shoot.

I haven't been doing the smilies thing (or in my case, frownies) because, well, they're mostly frownies.

I had, a much better than last week, 2 correct this week. I got Yoda instantaneously, and I reasoned out Rosie the Riveter. Stockholm Syndrome was a bit of a headslap, but I hadn't heard of Dunces. (Well, I know lots & lots of dunces personally, but you know what I mean.)

I gave my thought process re the money on that days' thread, so I won't get into it again.

On the others, there is usually very little chance I got any of them, because I think they are chosen from "the clues bpmod didn't get this week". I don't know how Mark consistently finds that list, but...

No. I did get one of them this week. K2 was extremely overvalued.

If I had 50 cents for every math question I got right, I'd have $6.30 by now.

A couple of the FJs this week were jaw-droppingly easy, though the $2 bill and John Kennedy Toole certainly compensated.

For the season:
FJ: 32-18
Extras: 12-18
TOC: 5-5
Longest FJ winning streak: 8
Longest FJ losing streak: 3 (active 1)
5/5:1
4/5:2
3/5:5
2/5:2
1/5:0
0/5:0

M-Brain freeze and couldn't get Yoda's name, went with Obi-Wan Kenobi just to have a name.
T-Simple math, though haven't seen a $2 since I worked a register over ten years ago.
W-Instaget
T-Game not shown here, played FJ from another website and got it.
F-Same as Thursday, got spoiled on the question but likely would never have gotten it.

Bonuses-K2 is common knowledge, thanks to its name. No chance on the flower and need to brush up on the geography of that area if I get the call.

Bumping this since the 11/22/11 FJ! clue and seeing a $2 bill are up for discussion in the Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 thread.
