We are doing some more work on the issues we have had on the server, so we may need to reboot it shortly.
It won't be gone long, should that be the case.

Really good news!
We have just installed a brand new server and will be moving JBoard and The Archive (as well as a few other sites) over to it in the next day or two.
There should not be any down time, but if any is necessary, it will be in the wee hours of the morning (eastern time) and I will try to give a heads-up in plenty of time.
You should notice an overall improvement.

I dunno about that "overall improvement" thing. Right after you posted that, someone made a lolcats comment. I *never* call a lolcats reference an "improvement" to anything. If anything, the place is going downhill. Put us back on the old server!

The JBoard and The Archive will be going offline at about 3:00am Eastern for our switch to the new server.
Downtime will be as long as absolutely necessary and no longer.

We are expecting to be doing some work on the database versions in the next few days or so. Expect some database connectivity issues while this is in progress. Any work will be done between 3 & 6 am Eastern time to keep problems to a minimum.
