I know Carl's Jr. rebranded a few Hardee's around Bloomington-Normal, IL in 1997 (I saw at least one when I went to Bloomington in 2004), but I don't know if there were any other Carl's Jrseseses this far out.

My experience with bridges that don't connect to land is ... well, I don't have any. Oh, snap, this is TPH! Never mind - White Russian time.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place about a mile away from the bridge:

The Swiss bank clue threw me; I thought they were looking for a number in the answer.

Got White Russian from Caucasian on a guess.

The White Russian question was a piece of cake for me. (5 bonus points for telling me why.)

You're a drunkard?
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

oh OUCH. Did you know as soon as it left your mouth that you'd misspoke?
Doubly painful as you handed him the title that beat you.
Surprised at how long before e.t. was used (which I thought would lead right to AI).

I never could keep the title straight for that one. (I kind of get it mixed up with the old Capcom video game, where it was 1942 followed by 1943.) What's even worse is he told me later that if I'd gotten that one right, he was out.

It's weird after Jeopardy! to *not* see the question you're being asked. The reason it took me so long to answer my last regular question was I thought he was going to ask me what The Bride's real name was. I had to fight to get 'Beatrix Kiddo' out of my head and think of the right answer.

And to think I was going to ask jokingly whether the video game had anything to do with it.
