Your wife said she is one?
Luckily for me, no.

Yup, that's me.

(To define it for those who may not know: Jenny McCarthy may be physically attractive, but I'd rather copulate with barbed wire than be in the same room as her. On the other hand, Mayam Bialik is, at bet, pretty average, looks-wise, but I'd like to take her to a cheap motel room and discuss the artistic themes in the Decameron with her all. night. long. Twice)

No, that wasn't a euphemism, ya pervs. :)

I'd watch some Kieslowski with her, if you know what I mean!

(It still works as one tho)

Here's a bittersweet story about one of my favorite games. A bridge player was dealt an extremely rare hand of four aces, three kings, and the rest queens and jacks; played in six no trump; made an overtrick; and died. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/we ... yer-329092

I thought so at first too, but it depends on the distribution of the final 3 face cards. Couldn't you lose the final trick, especially if another player has all the rest of the faces? And if the K, Q, and J is in one suit in which they're strong, I'd say losing a trick is inevitable.

Sure, it's not ironclad, but odds are pretty solid he can pick up that king one way or another. His distribution is obviously flat; I'd think his opening bid would be 6NT maybe, showing 32-33, and partner can bump with any 2 or 3. I'm no expert, but I'd be sore tempted to shoot the moon with my first bid. Prettiest hand of his life, and he missed the grand slam.

I think he means this:

Which I have never even heard of before.

P.S.: Most revealing line of the article: "The crowd seemed genuinely shocked this is how WWE chose to end it."

Yes, that's it. Wrestlemania is the Super Bowl of the sports entertainment field. It's a big deal for the fan base that cares.

I didn't watch it but when I heard...oh my goodness, that's crazy. I thought it would last forever.

That said, he is 49, and if there was ever a time to job to Lesnar, it's probably when you're going on 50.

Thank you for asking. I was clueless as to what he meant.

I have heard of wrestlemania, but have never heard of Brock Lesnar. I wasn't interested enough to click the link to see if I'd heard of whoever they told him to lose to.

I once read an article back when they still pretended it was real and it said the only proof you needed that it was fake was that Las Vegas didn't take bets on it.

Damnit, internet...

http://arstechnica.com/security/2014/04 ... tte-style/
The result of a missing bounds check in the source code, Heartbleed allows attackers to recover large chunks of private computer memory that handle OpenSSL processes. The leak is the digital equivalent of a grab bag that hackers can blindly reach into over and over simply by sending a series of commands to vulnerable servers. The returned contents could include something as banal as a time stamp, or it could return far more valuable assets such as authentication credentials or even the private key at the heart of a website's entire cryptographic certificate.
And it's been live for 2 years.

Really glad I'm not on the IT side of things right about now.

The GLA map shows a GLONASS receiver at Harwich giving corrupted position fixes that were off by more than 50km.

The Authorities say the 2 April event is a timely reminder that alternatives to satellite navigation are essential.
...
"The lesson that comes out of this is not just that satellite-navigation systems are vulnerable, but that you don't get a protection by simply plugging in a second satellite-navigation system.

"You need something that is different and doesn't share common modes of failure," he told BBC News.
I...I have a suggestion:
