Here is another story. You might actually like this one.

Figuring Out Fulfillment: Stories of Career Satisfaction
When I was nine years old, I got my first job. My family lived then in what in eastern Massachusetts passed for “the boondocks” – a new development of 21 houses with no other homes within a one-mile radius. (I have since learned that in parts of western Virginia and central Florida, this would be called “the city”.) . . . Click here to read "The Paperboy Always Rang Twice"

Some of the infamous Google interview questions.

Several of them seem to involve skills that are helpful in Guesstimania quizzes, which is why I hate Guesstimania. :)

While we're on the subject, I have a 12 string guitar that I've been trying to sell since August and I can't sell the damn thing to save my life. Anyone interested?

Hmmm... I've always had an affinity for twelve-string guitars. What make is it?

I already have at least five 12 string guitars.

I'm primarily a keyboardist, but I can play a little guitar. My little raccoon hands can't play an F chord very well, though.

So yeah, my hands are too small for a 12 string.

A quick reminder to dhkendall......

I know you watch the show, but you want to be sure to watch The big Bang Theory this week. The previews show that Sheldon will be hosting some sort of internet show called "Fun with Flags".

Sheldon: “The apartment's flag is a gold lion rampant on a field of azure and should never fly upside down—unless the apartment’s in distress."

Leonard: "The apartment has its own flag?"

Let me put it this way - I only have 2 shows programmed into my eyeTV (TV recording software for my Mac). One is Jeopardy. :)

Thanks for the heads up, I will see it, but now I know to be prepared for a possible new favourite episode. (Currently, it's Season One's "The Bat Jar Conjecture")

(Edit: Damn, can't even watch the preview on the CBS site, "not available for your region blah blah blah". It's a good thing the planned invasion is just a few days away, I'm sick of Americans treating us as second class citizens) [information deleted by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). You can still see a lot of it, so just don't look, eh?]

This year's Oscar telecast is going to be fighting against No Country For Old Men's year for lowest Nielsen ever...

They can have up to 10 nominations, they ended with 9...would it have killed them to throw HP8 on there? Something that, you know, people actually went to watch? (It also didn't suck.) (It is depressing that the best showing feature on the list, and the only one over $100 mil was THE (@&(*&! HELP.)

Although, props for AMPAS remembering films exist before fall...two of the films were released in May. MAY!! Everyone talking about "shocks" with these nominations...THAT's the biggest shock to me. One more time: MAY!
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)
