"Jeopardy! and Philosophy"

Post by WRV »

I was browsing the catalog of the Pop Culture and Philosophy book series, when I stumbled upon this:

http://www.opencourtbooks.com/books_n/jeopardy.htm

I have the PCaP books on South Park, Star Trek, and Doctor Who, and they'e all been quite fascinating to me. The one on J! is due this fall.

It's a Canadian author. I wonder if they'll be allowed to sell it in the U.S.

Ooh, sorry, but any article that disses Big Bang Theory and Rain Man isn't worth the virtual paper it's printed on (nevermind it's yet another article that can't resist putting "What is..." in the headline).

Don't worry. There's always a way.

If I had 50 cents for every math question I got right, I'd have $6.30 by now.

The general view here is that Americans don't read, so it's not a concern to us.

I can smuggle some copies over the border if you'd like. Along with some fruit and free medication if anyone else is interested.

I thought that word was banned here, or is that only if it comes from a certain poster?

Context is important.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

To quote Dr. Freud, "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".
