... Erin crushed it on the music clues. IMHO, that's what won her the game. 3/5 and +$3200 on the music clues taken away leaves Erin with 9200 and still in position to take the game in the FJ! round with Anthony's miss. Erin won for overall better buzzer work while 6W and 2nd place after the DJ! ro...

BASEBALL & POLITICS This two-word term applied to pitcher Walter ""Big Train" Johnson from 1907 to 1927 and, in a different sense, to Democrat Henry "Scoop" Jackson from 1953 to 1983 What is Washington Senator? I'm a chemist so this was the biggest slam-dunk of any FJ for me in quite a while. I've even imagined that combination of chemical symbols before AND I frequently use sodium citrate for that exact purpose. Why can't they all be like this!? :lol:

I now see a little bit of the reason for the FJ! bet - I'd be tempted to Clavin that category, because it's my specialty, too. I still don't like overbetting FJ!, especially when the "average contestant" is about 50-50 to get FJ! right, and unless you have hard evidence that you're above average, y...

I'm not going to waste a poll request on it, but did most of you get The Member of the Wedding? I'd honestly never heard of it, but it has tons of Archive hits (albeit most back when the canon had a heavier focus on academic topics). I happened to get it. There are two main Carson McCullers novels ...

Just be glad it isn't 98 in French: quatre-vingt dix huit

quatre =4
vingt = 20
dix = 10
huit = 8
quatre-vingt = 80
dix huit = 18
quatre-vingt dix = 90
quatre-vingt dix huit = 98

sum = 328
