Was anybody else thrown off by the use of 'title character subject' in the John Nash clue? Maybe I misread the clue.

Re: Eligibility of Canadians for Jeopardy Online Test 2016

Last week's episode of 'Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me' had a question based on Jeopardy's Canadian 'ban'. Everything's pretty tongue-in-cheek on that show, so I'm not sure how accurate their depiction was.

Re: "500 questions" is casting for season 2

Good luck to all still in the running! I'm really curious if the rumors of a new host are true. I'm glad to see that they're still heavily recruiting from the Jeopardy! pool for Season 2. The rumors are true, they just haven't named a host yet. I'm sure you're tickled to hear this, Megan. I'm not! ...

Re: Friday, January 29, 2016 Game Recap & Discussion [SPOILERS]

I picked up on the emphasis on "securing fortune" in FJ and went with Robert Morris, the financier of the Revolution. Is that a crazy guess, or does the wording of the clue merit that line of reasoning? Many people found the wording of the clue difficult to parse. To me, it pretty clearly was spoke...

The latter is the correct response. And a lucky one. Those were the only two rappers I could remember offhand, and it was a mental coin-flip between them. Man you need to stay up to date with your current hip-hop events. Kanye's been all over the news this week for hilarious reasons. You see, 'yeez...

Easy. Just answer "there is no correct response to this clue because I know that the quote in question is from The Old Man and the Sea because I have read it a hundred times but that starts with a "T" and not an "O." Oooh. I'm sorry. As you know, here on Jeopardy, our contestants are instructed to ...

Re: What was your online test score with an audition

Well put, Trivia Wayne. I always assumed all the above was true. I can't imagine they actually go through tests by hand, and obviously some contestants will be selected for over others for TV considerations. Why would they ever go through ONLINE tests by HAND? It's all stored in a database, name, n...

By the way, what exactly makes these coloring books 'adult'? I'm sure that, as a child, I would have been just as happy coloring an abstract pattern, or flowers/landscape/etc, as something featuring Mickey Mouse.

Re: Online Test Recap & Discussion (Pacific), January 28, 2016

Don't they speak Irish in Ireland? Yup. But when they move to the United States they have to learn American. You seem to speak American very well, given that it's a second language. I also thought this test was harder than the others, but got the same score (46) as Wednesday. Harking back to the 'c...
