Unless she had already conceded the game to Matt, and was playing for second place. Me, I would have tossed in all on the table for the DD.

I thought of trumpet, but it seemed way too mainstream compared with the others in the category. I actually guessed coronet... not sure if that's acceptable or not. Poor Val. She seemed frozen in place. FJ was an Instaget. Well, not coronet. There isn't any difference between the trumpet and cornet...

How can you possibly shortcut "greatest common factor of 84 and 105" 105 - 84 = 21 Just kidding. You might be kidding, but this is the fastest way to get there. Obviously 21*4=84,so the next test is 5*21=?. That works, so that's your answer. If not, you'd look at the factors of 21. This method work...

Another lousy game this week. Not sure why the Finland question was questioned---Alex's explanation made no sense. The USSR was never engaged in Norway, AFAIK. Was not impressed with any of the contestants.

Maybe Maire didn't want to bump another contestant by getting a tie that way. I prefer believing in something like that, rather than she didn't know 11x2=22. She did have chances to stop Campbell from having the lock game and she failed. She could have felt she didn't deserve a tie that would hurt ...

2. The Roast Beast question. I can't believe I was immediately told I was wrong when I was so close to the right answer.
