Given the circumstances, I thought he did as well as could be expected. He was brought in at the last minute and had virtualyl no rehearsal time.

Re: Jeopardy! Interim Host Thread

OTOH, Zach tomorrow? Rude! Imagine battling your way to become a 4x champ, almost making the ToC, and they plop another 4x champ next to you - which applies to both Zach and Brian. And the player at the third lectern? Yikes! According to the This Week On Jeopardy page, Zach will be back on Thursday...

I can't see that happening. That must have been a scheduling nightmare for both the show and the contestants who got bumped.

Does this affect just the board? I haven't been able to get J! Archive to load for a few hours.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive

I think that the way J! Archive is coded, a game page has to at least name the contestants. Overhauling the code to accommodate a single placeholder is probably not in the plans (although I imagine a brief note in the FJ at the end of the M$M wouldn't be out of the question—then again, the entire e...

In his acceptance speech he brought up getting the pity vote.

I never really care that much, and am totally fine with personal messages. Outside of "What is Aleve?", none of them seem really memorable. You don't think "Sorry Cory, No Jag", "Turd Ferguson", or "Kebert Xela" were memorable? I've actually found quite a few...

Re: New old games in the J! Archive

Indeed the final seems very tough. The miniseries starring Gary Cole had just aired earlier that year so maybe it could have been fresh in the mind, and it won 4 emmies which could have been even fresher in the mind, possibly just before taping. (Then again I’m not sure anyone knew who Gary Cole wa...
