Re: "Basic strategy" for Final Jeopardy wagering?

There is one absolute- if you've got a lock game, don't get greedy. Even that isn't an absolute. There is nothing but laughter and ...

Re: Learned League 72 - Official Thread

No way was I going to bother with pencil and paper for such a simple problem. Of course I can multiply 2-digit numbers in my head, but that's error-prone and unpleasant. This seems contradictory to me. If computing it in your head is error-prone why not just use a pencil and paper? I figure it take...

You said if you could find it on any list you would accept it.

If you didn't find it you didn't look.

Not sure why I got 3 points for Bradford and the two Stanford QBs should have been separate answers but it was a fun set a questions to think about even if there were some issues with the execution.

Based on your reactions I wish there had been a lot more modern NBA questions on my episode, because that FJ was a pretty easy one for me.

Re: LL69: for the LLama Drama

8th for me in Continental R with 97 TCA - On to Rundle C next season. 13/13 in Games/Sports, so whenever I do miss one in there I'm hopeful it will only cost me a 0. :) Due mostly to luck I finished one spot above you MarkBarrett but I'm glad you're moving up to C also! For a while there I feared i...

Re: 500 Questions (Season 2) [Possible Spoilers]

Please don't post comments on episodes that haven't aired on the West Coast yet. Thanks. Also, did anyone else catch that Monica said "Arcadia" in the national parks lightning round? As my wife (a big fan of the park) is always quick to point out it's "Acadia", no r. No one on the show seemed to not...

I NEVER said it has anything to do with my beliefs. It's that a larger percentage of people than most any other topic have an "unfair" advantage in their life in regards to how much they studied it. Fwiw, this was literally a question about a famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci. Knowing at least o...

Re: LL68 Mini-Leagues and One-Days

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if there's a better place to post this but I know lots of the LL people are active on this thread. I've enviously watched all the banter and would really like to participate in LL if someone is willing to refer me. I'm a former Sports J! contestant and while the rest of my...
