Re: TD 399 -- Halloween-ish Quiz

There is a non-zero chance this game includes the nastiest piece of negbait of all time, and I tauntingly walked straight-on into it, even commenting on it within my answer.

Re: TD 397 - SS (Final results)

Finally, those hours as a 12-year-old looking up baseball stadiums on the Internet and watching Figure It Out pay off!

Good game!

I wonder if the question I asked a few days ago kept other people from putting down the Hawks, or if no one was going to, anyway.
It kept me from writing in the Syracuse Nationals, who became the Philadelphia 76ers. I would have sheeped either way.

Re: TD 397 - SS

How lenient will the scoring be on Q4? Depending on the source, the same weight class can have several different names.

I was pretty sure Ashlee Simpson would be the sheep, and O.J. would have scored a couple from people who literally couldn’t think of anyone else. my thoughts as well Really?? Re: TD 395 - KIRSTEN DUNST (FIRST 14 Q REVEALED)

On the “Fighting Hawks/Fighting Sioux” negbait that no one took: a couple of years ago, UND sports teams didn’t have an official nickname at all, and that would have been a trick question.

I wasn't sure about Rubens but you gotta take risks in this game, am I right?
I employed the bold “they all feel like sheep to me, so just pick one” strategy, and it was rewarded generously.

On one hand, I’m surprised three other people knew of Robert Maxwell. On the other, i’m probably the only one who knew of Robert Maxwell as a key figure in the history of Tetris.

Right. So implicit in question #1 is that the person has to be well known or notable in some way; they can’t be your co-worker or pub trivia buddy I included (what this person is known for) in my entry, both to prove it wasn’t a name I was making up, and to hedge against the possibility of multiple...

If my Twitter sense is tingling, there was a reason the last question is what it was. It probably also means I sheeped big-time. Your SHEEP sense is sharp, man ‘One of the Wettest We’ve Ever Seen From the Standpoint of Water’ Today is #earthwindandfireday, so of course, I chose the other one.

Re: 2018 Current Events Study Guide

I thought marathon records were all unofficial anyway since every course is different. For a record in the marathon (or any road race) to be official, the start and finish must be less than half the race distance apart as the crow flies, and not have a net elevation drop of more than 0.1 percent. T...
