Is anyone aware of a way to view J in other countries? I have a Packers fan in Mexico who is ever so slightly losing his mind. Used to be part of my nightly watch group.

Re: Thursday, March 25, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

Did anyone else find the phrase “all the surviving colonists were massacred” a little awkward? I did. That makes no sense at all. That's not what he said. He referred to Colonials , as in soldiers...And in this case, the closed captioning has it right too. "All the surviving Colonials were murdered...

Re: Thursday, March 25, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I was not a fan of the Amal Pause. There were a few times I really thought he should have been out of time. Likewise, though I trust the timekeepers know what they are doing. It honestly made me think, time and again, that he wasn't going to say anything. It was slightly anxiety producing. He was a...

As a retired Catholic with 12 years of their schooling under my belt I was frustrated I couldn't quite access that one quickly enough.

Re: Tuesday, March 23, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I also had some friends in college who lived in '30s-vintage housing near the USC campus, called "Olympic Village", which I guess was built to house athletes for the Olympics, on W. Adams Gardens street off W. Adams Blvd. To this day, W. Adams Gardens is a private street. Given another 60 seconds I...

Re: Tuesday, March 23, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I lived in LA in 1984 and saw a great performance by The Groundlings that was set during the previous Olympics... so I knew it was the 30's, and Berlin in '36 is just hardwired at this point, so it had to be '32. Jokes like "Avoid the Wilshire area... all the signs for 10th St still say Olympic Blvd...

Re: Monday, March 22, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I really want to see that Warhol portrait. I couldn’t believe Warhol was a TS with pop artist in the answer. Never heard of the guy the player said but he was seven the day Warhol was shot. I don’t think I have ever watched his show or read anything about his medical advice so I am viewing him with...

Re: How Did Mike Richards Do as Host?

I guess the contrast for me, with Ken, was that I felt the whole time like Ken was resisting the urge to coach the players.

Re: How Did Mike Richards Do as Host?

I liked him quite a lot. I thought he understood and respected the rhythm of the game and made very few attempts to insert his personality. He was there to serve the players and the game. That's what I'm looking for. Biggest thing he would need to work on, which is hard, is learning how to manage th...

... and saying The Beatles instead of George Harrison for Guitar. Not incorrect... just a little odd. It's from the White Album, right? I think it would have been strange if they credited it to George. That was possibly not the best example. Maybe I live in a Beatle centric world to the degree that...

I’m in utter shock. Enjoyed his run immensely. I also have a child close to his age and I’m weeping at what his family is going through. Utterly heartbreaking.

Did anyone else find the artists they credited in the song category a little strange? Bette Midler for Bugle Boy, and saying The Beatles instead of George Harrison for Guitar. Not incorrect... just a little odd.
