Re: Learned League 89 - May/Jun '21

Not to beat a dead horse, but it's very telling that the American Revolution ML decided to stop posting daily recaps since they couldn't handle all the criticism being levied at them. Well, I'm bummed that that happened. I didn't have it in me to do too many 1DsS or MLs this time around, so I wasn'...

Re: A Math Question

Wouldn't the individual probability of each subsequent fowl not being a rooster change though, and thus the overall probability of not picking a rooster be dependent on number of fowl? Example: If there are 20 hens/roosters to begin, there are 4 roosters and 16 hens. Say you've picked a hen to begin...

I can't think of why E.J. picked exactly $501 for his wager. His safe martian wager was $1,799. In particular, I can't figure out why his wager ended with -01 instead of with -99.
Any ties to Arkansas, home of the 501 area code?

I got moved vertically (downward) and horizontally, as I move from Midland A to Outback B. Jury is still out if the winner of each Rundle gets a free Blooming Onion. I'm a rookie now and know I'm supposed to stfu, but is there any significance to the "horizontal" placement? A through E, I...

23 correct in single Jeopardy, 15 in double, got the Final correct for 39/60. Bumping donation up to $40. ETA: I gave "flummox" as a response for the $400 clue in "X," which is a synonym for "perplex", so I'm counting it as correct and bumping double to 16 correct. Tota...
