Re: Friday, July 13, 2018 Game Recap and Discussion [SPOILERS]

Instaget for FJ! Vincent's bleep maybe a historic first for Jeopardy. He's probably bleeping his pants after costing himself the win. Not the first bleep in Jeopardy! history - not even the first this decade. While it may not be entirely analogous, since the producers had to have seen this one comi...

Re: TD387 - morbeedo's Revenge - Q6 & Bonus Results

This lingering memory of this clip could have thrown someone off on Q6 due to the eternal Bill Paxton/Bill Pullman quandary:

Re: FJs for the 7/2/18 week

I bought a couple "My Pillows" from QVC (on behalf of Santa) when they were running some kind of 2 for 1 deal. Even so, it was a pretty pricey purchase for us, and I felt like a sucker--until we actually used them. The V for Value came through in the end, because those bad boys are amazing!

It wasn't really clear to me that "value" was literally part of the business name. I went after a similar term and came up with Best Buy.

Re: At the risk of looking foolish...

My foolery is this: I access jboard on my phone, and I've never been able to upload an avatar. Whatever I select, it always seems to be the wrong file size, and I don't understand how to adjust for the restrictions.

Re: Monday, July 2, 2018 Game Recap and Discussion [SPOILERS]

Keely Smith/Louis Prima seems like a very obscure pairing unless you're over 70 years old. Curious if anyone here got this right. Can't say I've heard of either of these people. Keely Smith was one of my dad's favorites, and the Disneyland Storyteller LP version of "Jungle Book" alone was enough to...

So was this whole TD just an excuse for that last music clue?
That last song (the "classic" rendition) came on the car radio today while we were running errands, and we were compelled to roll down the windows and crank it to maximum volume.

Thanks for hosting , Ironhorse. I loved the wide-open Looney Toons/Chicago sports round-up. And the Old Style (or Old Milwaukee--whatever's on sale) is perfect for a rowdy evening of Chumbawumba and Cribbage on our front porch.

Re: Timing of Audition Invite Emails

Prisoner of Trebekistan should be required reading for everyone on this board. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll settle on a favorite name for the signalling device. (Mine is "Palm Hoopty."
