Chimes are free standing, bells are not.

The "Tubular Bells" needed a Mike Oldfield reference to get past my sniff test.

Re: Millionaire 2018-19 Season Discussion [SPOILERS]

I thought "D: Turtle" was a less obvious wrong answer than "B: Goldfish".

But that's me.

Also, had Conor been wrong, he would have given the champion a taste of her own "trap from last place" medicine.

Excellent! This was a great "thinker." What clues did you pick up on that led you to the correct response? For me, geography. Buffalo Bill I associate with Wyoming (when it's not Dabney Coleman, that is), and I knew the Pony Express went through the area. That, and horses weren't meant to go all 2,...

"Luncheon on the Grass" a $50,000 question!?!?! They're joking right?

No, they are not. I remember in the RP-era it being the subject of a $500K question.

Judy Chicago: Left-wing feminist artist from Chicago, hence her now-legal name.

Would have written the clue as Garland, Jetson, Tenuta; but that's just my skewed sense of humor coming to the fore.

Peter: This one is a little bit tougher for me.

Me: This is easy!

Basketball Invented 1891
Pilgrims Land at Plymouth Rock 1620
Wright Brothers 1903
Declaration of Independence 1776
I knew it thanks to the late Falco (remember him?)

That's because the correct plural of hippoptamus is "hippopotamus". No need for a change.

Re: Millionaire 2018-19 Season Discussion [SPOILERS]

WWTBAM? airs on an indie here in Oklahoma City.

For those missing it due to GHWB coverage, there was this question:

Which is NOT a card game, but an extinct flightless bird?

A. Woolworth Poker
B. Oklahoma Gin
C. Rodrigues Solitaire
D. Mexican Stud

Do you think you know it?

I honestly couldn't tell you anything about Jennifer Lopez other than that she's a singer.
She shares her name with someone on The Weather Channel who's also fun to look at, but would NOT appreciate any "Jenny from the Block" jokes.

The show got a cosmetic makeover (hint: new logo/lettering, no "$"'s or "?"'s in the logo anymore, but the format/host/music cues are still the same.

I wonder if more would have gotten FJ if the category was Word Origins rather than Agriculture. When I made that change in thinking I moved on from figs to the correct response, but that was a good 15 seconds in...

I think TURKEY would have been a better category than WORD ORIGINS.

Mind immediately went to Crosby, Stills, and Nash as a trio that played Woodstock (and I was pretty sure they had a song called Woodstock, though not positive). 3/3 and 14 in a row

Yes, they did. It's track #5 off 1970's DEJA VU album, though Joni Mitchell wrote/originally recorded it.
