The anatomy category is misspelled in double jeopardy, the G should be removed.
Read the clues.
Oh that's nice. That category needs a revival.

Re: Friday, January 18, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I, on the other hand, missed the fact they were asking about two television shows. For some reason, I was thinking one was radio. So did I, until just reading your post! Weird. I also said Ryan Seacrest, but with more time to consider it he's clearly too late to be correct. Considering I was on WWT...

Re: LL79: For the LLamas

I hate to criticize too much, and I have enjoyed the Rock and Roll ML overall, but does it seem like it's been a little too metal focused to anyone else? Yes. Plus there should never be a question in there that has a 2% get rate. And I, too, am reluctant to criticize since these are hard to do. I d...

Re: Tuesday, January 15, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

FJ was a WECIB. Did they really think that was a tough curveball? I can't believe a J! contestant would fall for the FDR 'trap' on this one. I guess it goes hand in hand with the all too common poor FJ wagering, which this game made a good case of. Right, because everyone is an expert on 20th centu...

My favorite clue of the game:

PITY THE FOOL WHO DOESN'T KNOW MR. T MET BOY GEORGE IN A 1986 EPISODE OF THIS SHOW

Since we're allowed to omit leading articles, I shouted out "What is Team?"
Are you allowed to omit -two- leading articles at once though?

Re: LL79: For the LLamas

Dang, that 1D maps played easier than I expected...only went 10/12 but i know an extra hour would've gotten me those remaining. Just wasn't in me at the time. (It's...been a long year...) It sure did. I got nine correct and only scored in the 44th percentile. I did biff one of my moneyed questions ...

Re: Tuesday, January 15, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I didn't see FJ as a coin flip. The quote very strongly outlines Hoover's policy of non-intervention. It's the policy that lost him the election against FDR. It's the polar opposite of FDR's policy of extensive government help to end the Depression. If that quote had somehow come out of FDR's mouth...

Re: Millionaire 2018-19 Season Discussion [SPOILERS]

Well, that episode certainly was ... different. There used to be at least a streak in the 40s every other year or so, but I don't remember any long ones recently. Jackie Bradley got up to 29 or 30 a couple years back for my Red Sox, and I remember Jimmy Rollins' 38 game streak between the end of 20...

Moderately surprised at the FJ misses. Surrealist paintings look a little crazy —> who’s a very famous doctor to crazy people —> Freud. QED. :geek: It wasn't crazy for me, but Dali's have always felt dreamlike to me. And from dreams it's a very short psychiatric jump to Freud. I'm...somewhat surpri...

Runaways, Chinese Democracy, Freed is my running list. It's been...sobering.

[rant]OK, if you enter a rock and roll mini league you should know Alan Freed is the person credited with coming up with the term.[/rant] I was just slightly surprised only 39% got that question right yesterday. Also it had the day's second highest defensive assignment with 1.8. That was the only o...

I have zero idea how 'Fibber McGee' triggered 'Molly' in my brain. Seriously. None. And yet I picked it up... But on the show, would you have rung in? Or would you have stood there wondering why your brain was saying "Molly"? I think I would've gone for it. It wasn't a vague association eit...

The headshake at young people today was crickets heard for Fibber McGee’s partner. The Christie play also going TS surprised me more as that appeared in a clue last season. Watch the show people. It helps. I have zero idea how 'Fibber McGee' triggered 'Molly' in my brain. Seriously. None. And yet I...
