ETA: perhaps I'm just thick: what was that J! keywords category about?! It seemed like a collection of completely unrelated clues.
Not the obvious answers for typical J! stuff. For example, the dairy state was California, etc.

At this point I am having a ball reading all of the predictions. I have just a few more days of being in the know, and I'm loving it! :)
After your loss, anything is possible. I won't even be surprised if Ryan wins tomorrow (hopefully, he will stay clam??).

I thought this was the easiest matchup of the week. Rob being a clear favorite. Oh Rob! - at least you stayed till FJ...I was a little worried at the end.

A Temperance Brennan novel: "___ Bones" (referring to the number of bones in the body) If you're going to set this as a row 5 clue, even in the Jeopardy! Round, leave off that parenthetical. For some reason I keep saying 212. Not sure why I am mixing it up with the boiling point of water. If you br...

Steve's chat segment is top 25 all-time if not top 10.

That was awesome. Steve has a story to tell forever. Second half of J round was toast as I was still chuckling.

Was that Shakespeare DD tough? After ruling out 8, I wasn't sure which one to go. Why did you rule out 8? He's the only one I knew had a wife named Katherine. I figured that was the TOM so that's what I went with. I thought all were Catherines, not K. Hbomb shot that one down...so that would have b...

Was that Shakespeare DD tough? After ruling out 8, I wasn't sure which one to go. FWIW, that was the only Shakespeare one I didn't get (and I've been batting close to .900 on Shakespeare lately) My performance on Shakespeare and Musicals is surprisingly average - even after all these years. Too man...

The well-to-do wife part of the clue was a giveaway for anyone familiar with 30's detective fiction(or movies), but there were some obvious alternatives for those not so well-versed, kinda like Cher yesterday. As a not-so-well-versed individual, I guessed Poirot This season, it has paid to know you...

Re: Wednesday, October 23, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

How in the world did this game have 61 clues? 12 clues had images and half of them had an image switch. The contestants bounced all over the board and were not always snappy about their picks. Alex gave the minute to go warning in the J! round and it was 1m8s until the last response was given. Ther...

1960s + controversial lead me to wrong path of civil rights related play. No way out.

Lindsay played well. I thought it was odd too that she was ready to get off stage ASAP.

1/3 DD. Guessed pidgin on the language one. Kicking myself because Molière was TOM and I parsed the clue incorrectly (read it as "speakers of two different languages") For DD, I was trying to think of a word (still am, probably pidgin? -but I think it is something else)... Weakly blurted lingua fra...

Hope Arabian nights for FJ is good too. Didn't expect this many misses from the board (so far).
Better than yesterday, still felt below normal (or) lately the average has been very good.

I thought Jason's interview was awkwar...

I auditioned in Boston in 2007 and I will be going to NYC for my second try the end of May. I live in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, at the far eastern end of the island. A few more miles and I would be very wet. I'm actually closer to London, England, than I am to Dallas, for example. ...

my feeling is that the audition lottery is random or automated. TPTB work so hard and do so much already, I just can't see them weighing travel times at this point in the selection process.
This.

Re: Thursday, April 5, 2018 Game Recap and Discussion [SPOILERS]

The FJ! clue is one where it could have been cut in half after “movie” and it’s still a solve. It’s fine to add more information to make the clue more interesting although I’ll be curious if the TV portion really helped anyone get it. My instinct is it only cements the correct response with assuran...
