"Vraiment, a French restaurant..." Yes, it should be included as it is part of the clue. I would not bother to put it in italics, as it would not be italicized on the clue screen.
Vraiment means 'truly' (or 'really').

To add data to the debate over whether they have better contestants this season or not, from Tommy Zee: Big-winner scoreboard update: With the $50,000 wins by Brandon Bidlack and Gillian West, we've officially hit 18 players who've reached that milestone. 3. Absurd, ungettable, and the ones I voted for: Stromboli, Bolivia, Hesse. Others were pretty much as difficult but I could vote for only three. Bolivia wasn't ungettable. Llama means South America; there's a limited number of countries right off the bat, and throw out the non-Andeans ones right a...

I once walked across the bridge from Brownsville to Matamoros a long time ago. I got about a block into the plaza there, said to myself "No way!" and turned around and went back over the bridge. At least I could claim I had been in Mexico.

Frankly, I don't remember Brownsville in particular coming up in the whole border story. I feel like I might have come up with it if it didn't have that part in the clue, but I focused on that part, and kept coming out in Arizona instead of Texas.

Re: Wednesday, February 13, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I generally dislike affiliate clues, but the clues in Sports Across America were quick and fairly straightforward. I wish they would all at least say what city they're from, though. Just "of ABC7" doesn't tell you anything. I'd prefer they use their actual call letters, but I know that's not going ...

Re: Millionaire 2018-19 Season Discussion [SPOILERS]

I'm guessing Mr. Kendall is able to handle this one. I was pretty shocked they burned two lifelines on it. The +1 was exactly right ... they overthought it. Plus seriously, on a low dollar question, were they really going to expect you to know what Kosovo's flag looks like? Or Uzbekistan or Micrones...

Dumbo

Pinocchio
If those are OK, then you're got Mulan, Bambi, Peter Pan, Robin Hood, Pocahontas, Hercules, etc. I like the original concept of first and last name.

Re: Wednesday, January 23, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I got "The Handmaid's Tale" but I began writing with only about 5 seconds left in the music, not enough time to write it all down! I would have been ruled incorrect because the pen would have turned off before I completed it. If I had written "What is" while I was stumped I probably could have comp...

The couple after Rene and Lupe, however... yeesh. The things said during the music question including Phil Collins with Journey? :o For the highest value question of the day? Yup, no choices needed. At one point, she said "I don't remember" and I had to instantly add "I don't recall" from one of Ph...

Since I'm hearing lots of misses, I will add to the straw poll and say it was an instaget for me. Saw Cats a long, long time ago, and those names sounded just like Eliot.

Only LT of the night: annihilate. But I instaget Captain Blood (DD#3), remembering full well the Errol Flynn flick. I forgot that I meant to recommend Captain Blood. Great movie from the early days of swashbucklers (what the heck does that word mean, anyway?). Much better than Pirates of the Caribb...

Re: Tuesday, February 12, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

The way I see it, the next clue was a DD, which is when they typically stop play to confirm or refute an answer. That gave them time to research the answer and figure out whether it was correct or not. I assume they did so, and for whatever reason, decided they weren't going to accept his answer. Ma...

How in the world was there no reversal on "perfect squares"? That was every bit as legitimate a response as "square roots." I think Rob has a rock-solid case for being invited back, particularly since the next clue chosen was DD3.
I was shocked as well.

Instaget FJ.
