Re: New old games in the J! Archive

Having just seen Muffy Marracco Morris on the premiere episode of Best Ever Trivia Show, I was wondering if anyone has her J! games to put in the Archive sometime (she was in the Feb. 1992 Teen Tournament)?

Re: New old games in the J! Archive

Just out of curiosity - Does anyone have Burns Cameron's episode of the 1990 Super Jeopardy? It's the only episode from that special tournament I've never been able to find on YouTube, and I was wondering if anyone could upload the intro of that episode to YouTube if they have it.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive

Yes, May 15, 2002 was the 4000th episode, and entirely a half-hour clip show with no gameplay.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive

I just happened to find Hal Ackerman on Facebook, and in addition to knowing the correct spelling of his last name, he mentioned that his ex-wife still has the range he won as a second-place prize as well.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive

For the record, the 1992 book The Jeopardy! Challenge has these categories used on its cover: 1) FAMOUS FIRSTS 2) FILMS OF THE '90s 3) HISTORY 4) COOKING 5) DESERTS 6) HOMOPHONES The closest I could find to this is the first round of the May 15, 1991 (1991 College Semifinal #3) episode, but AMERICAN...

Re: Tuesday, November 13, 2018 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

^Hollywood Squares (the 1998-04 Tom Bergeron version) did the same with its tournaments. The two-week tournaments would have fourteen contestants in the quarter-finals, but only the top four highest scorers would move on to the semi-finals. If the tournament was only one week, eight contestants woul...

Re: Tuesday, November 13, 2018 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

^The Teen Reunion Tournament in Nov. 1998 was structured to have twelve contestants play four semi-final games, but only the top three scorers of the week could advance to the final game on Friday (since Dana finished in fourth place, she did get $7,500 while all the losing contestants got $5,000). ...
