the only Illinois city I could think of that sounded like it could be a word for something like an institution was Urbana.
Great minds! ;)
Also Urbana. I've heard of a Normal School before, but wasn't going to dredge that one up.

On Facebook Kelly Miyahara reports she has begun standing in for Johnny as announcer. Would it be wrong to fear that at the age of 94 Johnny has given his last introduction?
Let's hope not, but at that age it's hard not to think it.

How many estimated episodes in the archive that still need to be entered in?
You can estimate it with this equation:

Number remaining = total number of episodes - number already entered.

One of my favorite F1 pilots, Daniel Ricciardo, has the Honey Badger moniker. Took me about 15 seconds, but I dredged it up.

Lets move this to the proper thread... At least tell me you don't consider RBIs and pitching wins useful? Wins are utterly useless (Jacob de Grom should be a unanimous Cy Young winner, record be damned) and RBIs only slightly less so. So close... https://deadspin.com/goddamnit-cy-young-voter-who-sn...

Another outdated clue thanks to the recent A.G. change. Not really; the fact that there's now an (acting) 85th doesn't change the fact that he's the 84th. Acting AGs don't appear to count toward the number. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Attorney_General Acting anything doesn't count.

Seriously? Well, 30 of those years won't count as far as WAR is concerned, but yeah, if you've been paying any attention to the sport in the last 10 years or so, you should have heard of WAR. And OPS, for that matter. But then again, I'm a lapsed SABR member. I've always found it a completely usele...

Sorry to see Emily go, especially on an unforced error. I haven't seen the image she butchered, but unless there's a monocle, cigarette holder, or a wheelchair, I wouldn't expect younger folks to know Truman from Roosevelt by facial features. I don't think I could. Maybe, if it was the same as the ...

I just remember that the actual spelling is Rhône and as soon as I "see" the circumflex, I know it's French.

That.

Not quite an instaget, but close.

The Rhone, despite the near-spelling of the Rhine, never enters Germany.
