it's not the most efficient pangram
It is the most Jeopardy! pangram though, and this the best.

J! Pangram

From Facebook:
I was today years old when I found out that

"Watch 'Jeopardy!', Alex Trebek's fun TV quiz game"

is a pangram (containing every letter of the alphabet.)

Re: Friday, October 11, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

To show off, especially in the main seating area of a sports venue "Grandstand" is given, but how about "showboat"? It doesn't quite match the "main seating area" TOM, but there's precedent for a clue where it's correct despite being against the TOM. (I'm guessing it also doesn't quite fit as a rhy...

Re: Tuesday, September 17, 2019 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

Canada wasn't a country yet! Says who? When do you think Canada was a country anyways? (Btw if you think about it, at least for new (ie post WWII) countries, they need to make the anthem before independence anyways. Or what are they going to play at the Independence Day ceremonies? The soundtrack t...

When we saw the FJ category, Mrs Penguin immediately began singing O Canada as I fast-forwarded through the ads. At a certain point she got the words a little wrong, so I corrected her.
That depends, maybe she was singing the new lyrics after last year’s change.

Of course I have no idea about their national anthem along with 190+ other countries.
Considering I currently have 438 national anthems on my site (of which I probably know just shy of 400 in one way or another), not knowing 190 is good! That leaves about 50% you do know! ;)

Sigh.

Jeopardy!? You have my number, just call me next time there’s a national anthems clue about O Canada? Please?

(Better yet just save it for when I’m on)

Re: Jeopardy 2019 North American Audition Tour

I think the passing score was well above 35 at TN to keep numbers down. But no complaints here- they came to TN to get better players. To get on the show, be good at trivia and be good tv. That would certainly explain why people I would have expected to pass the test didn't do so. I look at it this...

Re: Summer reruns 2019

I wonder what percentage of people here watch any of the summer reruns. For me, it's a 6-week break and 30 extra minutes of free time every weekday. I’ll be watching every day (or most every day) mainly because I use J! for practice and my audition is in less than two weeks. (Yeah, it’s Kids Week b...

Re: JBoard Demographic Survey

When this poll was first posted, there were no respondents in the 70+ bracket. I am now over 70, and I would not be surprised if a few other boardies are, as well. I hope so, anyway. Being the oldest person in the room is not something I relish. It has been over five years so I would imagine you ar...

I *think* (though it's very likely I'm mistaken) that Ben looks familiar, and I *think* it may be because I auditioned with him in Kansas City in 2015. If so, great to see him get on!

I had to cancel my Savannah audition at the last minute because I lost my job and couldn't afford to go. It was one of the worst feelings of my life. Well that really sucks. Next time, don’t be afraid to ask for help in such a situation...we might have got you there Yep. In these circumstances, I w...

Watched the recording of this yesterday. Missed Naked Maja. Not ten minutes after, picked up a book I got for Christmas that I’ve rarely looked at in the past 5 months, opened to a random page, and found this: https://www.imgur.com/WvTIV70?r

Geez, people. Everybody get down off your hind legs. Nobody needs to do lecturing on either side here. The winner is the first person to back off and speak respectfully without waiting for the other side to do it.
Do they also get to go first in DJ!?
