FYI Tuskegee Institute is now Tuskegee University (but Institute should be accepted).
I thought of that after I answered with Tuskegee Institute, but that was the name of the institution that Booker T Washington founded and that the airmen graduated from.

Re: SHC Round 2 Instant Replay Thread [SPOILERS]

In case anyone is interested, the set of clues I wrote for today (Day 5) was inspired by seeing the 10-point clue's name in a crossword puzzle. It was harder than I thought it would be to come up with 4 more people to fit the category. I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable tennis fan, and I stil...

Re: Alex Trebek injured

Well that would make a lot more sense. I guess I didn't happen to read any of the articles that mentioned the "chasing her out of his room" part. I was going by her story of what allegedly happened, in which she claimed that Trebek came up to her in the hall and asked her if she was in his room. Ob...

Re: Alex Trebek injured

I really do wonder what facts or evidence led to the charges being filed. If none of the property was found on the woman, and they don't have any fingerprints or other evidence placing her in Trebek's room, and Trebek didn't see her while she was in his room, then what exactly are the charges based...

Re: SHC Round 2 Instant Replay Thread [SPOILERS]

I guess I really am the only person who likes Magical Mystery Tour. It might not be the best Beatles album but it is a good listen! Hardly. John Lennon called it his favorite Beatles album and how can one not like one with so many memorable songs (Strawberry Fields, Fool on the Hill, Hello, Goodbye...

Re: SHC Round 2 Instant Replay Thread [SPOILERS]

Those of you who got Cyrene: did you get it from the reference to the Gospel of Mark, the geographical hint or consort of Apollo part? My reading of the Greek mythos had so many of assignations for Apollo that that latter fact had little use for me. I confess to never having heard of her. And I cert...

Re: SHC Round 2 Instant Replay Thread [SPOILERS]

I wonder if I will be the only person today who got the 15-pointer but missed the 3-pointer (I always knew the 3 ships on Columbus's voyage, but darned if I could tell you which one was the first to hit land). I had no clue which it was. I just guessed and got lucky. Though I'd never heard of the i...

Re: Summer Hiatus Challenge -- Scoreboard

Likewise, I seem to be missing from the list of high scores (unless there's some other criterion factored in that I've overlooked). You are correct, that is my fault because I forgot that players who are competing for a wildcard spot are still eligible for one of the top three scores. I'll fix that...

Likewise, I seem to be missing from the list of high scores (unless there's some other criterion factored in that I've overlooked). This normally would be no problem, but since I've called out gnash, I'll be damned if I let him sit above me on that list.
