Re: Jeopardy! Interim Host Thread

I don’t know all the S&P rules but Ken hosting practice games while still a player is a little weird. Maybe not crossing a line but getting close to it. Hadn't heard that story; hope it may an urban legend. I think "little weird" may be an understatement, "a lot weird" more closely matches my react...

Re: Jeopardy! Interim Host Thread

This article from The New York Times states that a spokeswoman said that Ken has taped 30 episodes, so once Ken started hosting, they probably went back to doing five shows a day, since 30 episodes would be six weeks. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/07/arts/television/alex-trebek-jeopardy-johnny-gil...

Re: Jeopardy! Interim Host Thread

Never heard of Dane Cook. Mostly known for his stand-up comedy shows done in the round and comedy albums. Onstage, he's extremely physical, with big gestures and body movement imitations. His biggest laugh, that I remember, was for his "cross the street, dammit" bit, which I can find audio of, but ...

Re: Jeopardy! Interim Host Thread

Katie Couric: According to the Los Angeles Times, Katie will be an interim host for a week. One week!? That’s one or two days work for Couric. This revolving door will probably be a nightmare for the staff and crew with repeated taping breaks and resets. But who knows. I wish them all the best of l...

Re: 2020 in review and what's in store for 2021

On another note, production will resume on January 11th. We know the show opened to contestants from the rest of the US in December, but with whatever rules are in place...maybe the show will put up those velvet ropes again? Are you saying the first tapings of 2021 are on January 11? From what I’ve...

In one of the GOAT matches, James said something about “following the rules” when Alex commented about him not having a shoutout.
That was actually James' ToC quarterfinal game.

I just checked my post in the "J! in the Media" thread where I posted a list of all of the epis...

Re: J! in the Media

I forgot to mention this, but the "Producer's Pick" collection on Netflix (with all episodes from the week of May 28-June 1, 2018) was already removed. I watched the first four episodes in that collection and started the fifth before it got removed.
