Re: LL66 (For the LLamas)

3rd place in an A rundle.
With 105 TCA.
Good, and flukily successful defense, plus expansion.

I'll take it.

Re: LL66 (For the LLamas)

I got absolutely slaughtered yesterday after six straight wins – 1(1)-2(3). I take solace in my perfect defense, which has been a rarity for me this season. That was either my first or second 1-bagger of my career. I recall someone mentioning a place where you can see your individual match-score hi...

Re: Zach Horan (legendneverdies) Banned

I hoping this stays lighthearted enough — I don't want to be blamed for starting a flame war. Point missed, or at least if you were referring to what I said. Mansplaining, as BigDaddyMatty has said (and this comes from my own personal experience with politically correct classmates, as well), is mor...

Re: LL66 (For the LLamas)

Yesterday was my most Slumdog Millionaire / Rossplanation kind of day that I can remember: Calais was a 90%-sure guess, and I was embarrassed I wasn’t 100% sure. I was (embarrassingly) in a fraternity at Stevens Tech. One semester a bunch of us watched Days of Our Lives, and I remember Patch. He had...

Re: LL66 (For the LLamas)

I keep waiting for my name to get me mis-defensed (despite my last name, I'm mostly Irish by blood, was brought up Catholic, was an altar boy). I was expecting 3 for colcannon, got 1. (2 each to Commodores/Lionel Richie and Malawi/Zambia/Zimbabwe, both of which I knew, and Sullivan, which I should h...

Re: LL66 (For the LLamas)

As far as I can tell, DE is calculated with a denominator of the total amount of match points possible beyond the minimum points for the given number right. For example, if your opponent scores 2(2), your DE for that match is .750. But if your opponent scores 3(3), your DE is .800 even though you g...

Re: Monday, July 27, 2015 Game Recap & Discussion [SPOILERS]

Backing into this discussion late, but I think Scott wuz robbed. TomKBaltimoreBoy to the contrary, it’s clear from all rules and precedents of Jeopardy! clue construction that a clue worded “the 1888 suite named for her” is asking for the character for whom the suite is named, not the title of the ...

Re: LL65 (For the LLamas amongst us)

Hey. Really annoyed at myself for only discovering this thread at the very end of the season. And for the dumb reason (I know better than to play games like Think Different, as down that rabbit hole (for me) lies madness, unemployment, etc. Saw something else with two capital letters and a number b...

Re: LL65 (For the LLamas amongst us)

Still have never hit a 0-questioner or a 6-questioner in three seasons... something to shoot for next season! (Well, at least one of those.) Huh. I did those a week apart not long ago. You're welcome, JordanG. And anyone who hasn't seen Bad News Bears, you should get off this message board and go w...
