Anyone else remember 02134 as the Zoom zip code?Bamaman wrote:I was trying to think of some highway that related to 5280 and then tried to decide what 1993 had to do with anything. Wrote down San Diego just to have some random city that might be right. Alex's comments right after the music clicked in for me, but too little, too late. (BTW, Boston's zip in 02134).

Re: Monday, April 29, 2013 Game Recap & Discussion [SPOILERS]
Watched three games this morning. I did think Larry was stalling a bit but it didn't particularly bother me.
I got Lach Trash on uppercase, lox, and border protection. Agree that CBP was neg bait, but I got the correct response based on what "felt" like it should go with Customs.
I got FJ (I agree that most people rate to either get it instantly or never get it). I was disappointed that I didn't do better on the anagrams category--I think I only got two within the time limit.

Speaking of negbait, here was (roughly) a question from WWTBAM today:
Showing that all math geeks are nerdy, this Big Bang Theory star is in a commercial for the infamous Texas Instruments graphing calculators
A) Mayim Bialik
B) Kaley Cuoco
C) Jim Parsons
D) Johnny Galecki

Spoiler
Knowing that Jim Parsons -- and Sheldon Cooper -- is from Texas, you'd be inclined to quickly should out, "C, final answer!" And you'd be wrong. It's A).

That may not have been the exact word used, but I remember thinking that it was an odd choice when I first read it.Vanya wrote:Um, why are they infamous?

I guessed A simply because she's the one who actually has scientific cred, with her Ph.D and all...However, I'm not sure if I would have remembered her name if you hadn't given it to us. Not a fan of the show.

Actually, Parsons was one of the first people I eliminated, Bialik was an instaget, because she's the only one of the four known for being a smarty-pants off-camera too (this fact was even mentioned on The Big Bang Theory itself once!).

I got it right, mainly because the correct answer was the only TBBT actor I could have named.econgator wrote:Speaking of negbait, here was (roughly) a question from WWTBAM today:

Spoiler
I'd have guessed Kelly, due to the fact you wouldn't expect Penny to be doing that.
