I think you should apologize.
I think you should hold your breath until he apologizes.

This could make a good TD question (well, not right away, obviously).
If by "could" you mean "already did", then I agree with you. :)
Maybe that TD hasn't happened for dhkendall (aka the 15th Doctor) yet.

French class.
That's funny. I always though French class was where one learned to kiss.

That was just you. And times were different back then. Today, Madame Campbell would go to jail. She wouldn't be allowed to throw chalk at the students, either.

I sure couldn't. They divide into four categories for me:

1. Names I could come up with on my own: Tom Baker, Eccleston, Tennant, Smith
2. Names I would recognize as Doctors if you brought them up: Pertwee
3. Names I wouldn't immediately recognize, but if you said they'd played the Doctor, that would immediately ring a bell: Hartnell, Troughton, Davison, McCoy, McGann
4. Names that might cause me to embarrass myself by laughing at your "mistake" and saying, "you mean TOM Baker.": Colin Baker

Amen to that. For much of the early part of the game I wondered if Mark was planning to let the others play at all. I also wondered how bad of a runaway it would be. That was a most impressive comeback by Jeffrey, even if it didn't quite catch him up. He acquitted himself admirably. And yeah, Amanda may be a good player but the poor girl just got steamrolled by a couple of real powerhouses.
It was at least kind of Jeffrey to wager on FJ to let her back in the game when he would have been safer keeping her locked out.

Well, guess I can't use "I play in a pinball league" as one of the unique facts about me at my next audition.

Scott Stantis. He used to do the political cartoons for The Birmingham News back when it was an actual daily paper. He moved to Chicago.

Of that spin-off show? I liked her, that's the only Dr Who thing I've ever watched. I didn't even watch the anagram spin-off, as much as its title amused me.

I just got done making a comic strip quiz on Sporcle. 75 strips, but no Prickly City. I've never even heard of it. Too bad, because it looks like fun.

MarkBarrett wrote: For figuring out Amanda's father does anyone want to try a search of "Connecticut" to look at all male losers who played in 1997 and had a "high" second place score. Of course pops could be from a different state. It may take the social media route to see if she has a maiden name? Or perhaps the hometown howdy would give a hint if that ever gets fixed?
From a quick look, maybe Dan Brodeur: http://www.j-archive.com/showplayer.php?player_id=2475 A teacher from CT, was second with 16,799 in December of 1997. (Very impressive in pre-doubled era!) And interesting... the eventual winner offered the tie - if he hadn't wagered to save a dollar, he would have been co-champion.

You know, on some of them the name of the strip is visible.

She was funny, and she didn't go about mooning over the Doctor.
