Re: Registration now open for adult online test
Regarding the lack of an NYC option on the registration page, didn't they not have a D.C. option on the registration page for the online test this year? I'm assuming that they wound up having one.
I used to be AWSOP but wanted to be more theatrical.

As a Raleigh resident who had to schlep it to Tampa last year, I wish I could audition again for fun, just to not have to drive anywhere.Paucle wrote:Probably going to choose Raleigh again

I think that photo was staged or was taken during a practice game in which that particular game board was recycled.legendneverdies wrote:The clue picked last in that round, as per the archive, was $1000 in I Wanna Watch TV. The $1000 graphic is not displayed in that window.

That would certainly explain why it doesn't look like a 12-year-old boy.Fleeboy wrote:I think that photo was staged or was taken during a practice game in which that particular game board was recycled.

I did notice that - went with DC because my brother lives in the area, but come on, not even KC or New Orleans this year?lisa0012 wrote:I was trying to figure out the "for fun" bit too.gamawire wrote:The last few online tests I have taken have had a disclaimer that said if you have had an in-person audition in the last 18 months then you can only take the test for fun. This may not be the case now since that disclaimer did not come up when I just registered. I hope they don't kick me out of the pool for taking the test (my last audition was in March).
Did you notice how far away from Texas they are this year?

It's amazing how important this decision seems, as my cursor hovers over the list of audition cities. I live in DC but will graduate in May and have been actively applying for jobs in several different auditions cities. Who knows where I'll be, come audition time?

I agree, given it looks like he's wearing the same shirt in this photo.BigDaddyJ wrote:That would certainly explain why it doesn't look like a 12-year-old boy.Fleeboy wrote:I think that photo was staged or was taken during a practice game in which that particular game board was recycled.

I am pretty sure (but with no first-hand knowledge) that, should you get an audition invitation to a city that is no longer very convenient, the contestant coordinators will accommodate your needs.naurae29 wrote:It's amazing how important this decision seems, as my cursor hovers over the list of audition cities. Plus, if there were a photographer taking a picture from that angle during an actual game, she would be visible to the audience. This is probably from a practice round in which they loaded an old game for contestants to get used to the buzzer.legendneverdies wrote:The clue picked last in that round, as per the archive, was $1000 in I Wanna Watch TV. Is there a good way to search for old contestant tests? The search function won't let me search for "contestant" or "test". Maybe that would be a good idea for a sticky. That and links to tryout and test advice ("Don't press enter", for example.)

Re: Registration now open for adult online test
Both times I auditioned, I had to change my date and they were very nice about that. (The first time, I went into it assuming I would have to decline the offer of an audition altogether because surely the Great Jeopardy! Machine would not make a change for little ol' me.) I imagine it would be a similar situation if you were changing locations.bpmod wrote:I am pretty sure (but with no first-hand knowledge) that, should you get an audition invitation to a city that is no longer very convenient, the contestant coordinators will accommodate your needs.naurae29 wrote:It's amazing how important this decision seems, as my cursor hovers over the list of audition cities. I should be able to create something like that. It might be a couple of days before I get to it.MinnesotaMyron wrote:Is there a good way to search for old contestant tests? Re: Registration now open for adult online test
I keep my scoresheets for future reference to compare scores. For me searching the tests was easy as I used unusual answers. Plus I have the dates on each page. Hope you didn't work too hard. I think you have all the tests from this board. Nice work and thanks.MinnesotaMyron wrote:I was just about to add it.MarkBarrett wrote:Is this one on the list? viewtopic.php?f=1&t=605
