In a list of U.S. state names written backward, this state comes first; the reversed name was given to a now-abandoned mining camp

I missed with Florida. I got as far as realizing that no state ends in aa, ba, or ca; so it must be the one and only state that ends in da and I know which one that is. Good old Adirolf Mining Camp!
