I should have known that people willing to take on this TD would go for one of the most obscure schools to get a #1 seed...

MARCH MADNESS ON PART OF CLUE CREW????

The woman who won Mar. 24's Jeopardy (I didn't get her name but she was playing against Derek to her left) got one of her answers ruled wrong, when she was actually right. In the category of "City Seals" about Deland Florida's seal, I believe, she answered a question about signs used in the city's seal that ended with "representing faith, hope and ____" by responding "love." Alex said that the word for which the heart stood should have been "charity" not "love."

WRONG; the two terms are interchangeable. In many translations of the Bible, the term "love" is used instead of "charity." Charity is a transliteration of one of the Latin words for "love': "caritas." In Catholic discussions of those three "virtues" the phrase used often is "faith, hope and love." At no point did Alex say that King James Version language had to be used, and he had no reason to do so because the category wasn't a "Bible" one where he often does specify that KJV language is necessary.

They are. However, according to this link, they were ranked #2 in both the AP and Coaches polls, behind Gonzaga.

I hope it's a good sign that all of my Michigan/Michigan State guesses have been singletons, as they were most of my team guesses and I guessed years to which they were appropriate.

So far the only non-Michigan guess I've done so far was a sheep.

Misread the Temple question. Though it was looking for a team entering the tournament #1, not just eventual champions.

I was okay no matter which way my Ohio St./USC coin landed. I don't expect as much luck on the scoring average guy.

Question 6( Name a team to win the title and finish a season undefeated.

We see a big sheep for this question, but this time it's not too surprising. Take a look:

Correct:

UCLA (8) (Big SHEEP):
esrever
periwinkle
geolawyerman
Rackme32
dott888
amorris525
tjconn728
MarkBarrett

Indiana (5):
DadOfTwins
nestegg
clprez
Creed Bratton
econgator

North Carolina (1):
dnbguy

San Francisco (2):
chalupabatman786
Bamaman

DROP (2):
jjwaymee
jeff6286

Wrong (16 points):

Connecticut:

UNLV:

Ooh, came so close: UNLV fell to Duke in the 1991 Final Four after its now-famous 34-0 undefeated run.

Correct answers not used:
None! (Great job!)
