2014 Summer Hiatus Challenge -- Round 4, Day 2
Sorry for the delay.
To get word when each day's game is ready to go, look for the #SHC2014 hashtag on Twitter.
And to my delight, the spell checker on here thinks "hashtag" is a misspelling.
Ah, technology.
P.S. -- Guest writer Andromus created today's first category. Well done, sir.

“E”-TYMOLOGY
by Andromus
2: This country got its name from a phrase meaning "land of the Angles", who were a Germanic tribe that settled there.
4: A reflected and repeated sound, also a nymph of Greek legend who was cursed to only be able to repeat the words of others.
6: Originally it referred to an insect infesting your corn; today it could be that corny song infesting your head.
8: It started out as a system of bodily movements meant to aid in teaching music, especially involving Annie Lennox.
10: An exclamation favored by the hero of a Longfellow poem, or Stan Lee of comic book fame, taken from Latin and meaning "upwards.”
NON-CHRISTIANS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT
3: This Roman governor of Judea was warned by his wife not to have anything to do with Jesus on account of a nightmare she had.
6: After visiting young Jesus, the wise men were warned not to report back to this king.
9: This patriarch who lived two thousand years before Jesus is mentioned in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, and in Romans and Hebrews.
12: Two of the three Roman emperors mentioned by name in the New Testament.
15: The “G” in Warren G. Harding is the name of this rabbi who taught the apostle Paul and is quoted in Acts 5.
