Re: J! in the Media
Good morning everyone! I wrote an Op-Ed about the unifying power of Alex Trebek and Jeopardy. It's running in the Boston Herald today: https://twitter.com/bostonherald/status ... 11232?s=20
It was inspired by Jeopardy Producer Mike Richards' line in an interview after Alex's death that Alex "really believed in the importance of Jeopardy." If anyone knows anyone affiliated with the show and could somehow pass this along to Mike, I would really appreciate it!

John Roderick @johnroderick on Twitter cohosts something with Ken Jennings and has fallen, rightfully, into a shitstorm. Jennings may have a problem. I don’t know how to link to Twitter but if you search that handle, it’s all right there.

I just tried and it said the account doesn’t exist.

An apology has surfaced, and it's an actual apology: http://www.johnroderick.com/an-apology
I think this blows over for Ken and the show.

Agreed. My first thought was "how is this a story?" The fact that Ken chimed in seems like even less of a story.econgator wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 6:15 pmHere (point 3 is where it really starts):

"On Alex Trebek’s Final ‘Jeopardy!,’ a Last Introduction From a Friend"
Johnny Gilbert, 92, started on the game show with Trebek in 1984. Now, he must imagine a ‘Jeopardy!’ without his longtime colleague.

I bet it was tough for him to introduce Ken Jennings the first time. If he did it in one take I would be surprised.jpr281 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 8:02 pm"On Alex Trebek’s Final ‘Jeopardy!,’ a Last Introduction From a Friend"
