Mon: Dora the Explorer was instant.
Tue: 23 was instant (I'd read this fact somewhere before).
Wed: I got Bach but incorrectly guessed Haydn for the other.
Thu: I didn't have any response.
Fri: Huguenots was instant.
I got 161 clues right and 11 clues wrong for the week.

Fell into the 11 trap; remembered too late having heard somewhere that 1 isn't a real prime number and in the last 2 seconds it dawned on me that 23 was probably what they were looking for.
Bach, yes. Telemann ... Well, at least I was in the right era and country.

Not too ashamed of my misses this week, though I did say "13," influenced by "both themselves," I guess.
A little slow on "pariah."

Wed - Bach and Vivaldi. I saw '2 baroque' and didn't realize Germany was part of the clue until way too late.
Bothnia was on the tip of the tongue. Would've been a DD get, but too slow to beat the contestant.

If I ever manage to pull off my London trip, The Mousetrap is one of my must-dos
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

I might have had an outside shot at coming up with the correct response to Monday's FJ if I had had more time to think about it. I definitely would have gotten Tuesday's with more time to think about it, but 30 seconds wasn't enough time for me to think of the number that satisfied all parts of the clue.

Not my week. I missed both Thursday and Friday's shows because of March Madness.

Math is NOT my strong suit.

Maybe next week we'll get stuff I know, like US presidents, non-classical music, world leaders, etc.

Wednesday's was easy for me, having lived through the tricentennial hoopla, and I remembered Miss Darkbloom from "Speak Memory". I was proud of guessing Dora correctly.
I'm smart and I want respect.

Good week for me. On Monday, I guessed Diego, Dora's cousin. His last name is also Marquez but I see from Wikipedia that he debuted in 2002, not 2000 (and got his own show in 2005).

Had no chance on Thursday. I'm usually good at anagrams but, once it didn't occur to me to try something Russian because of the v's, I ran out of time pretty quickly.

I feel as if I should have gotten The Mousetrap and pariah. I think I wasn't 100% paying attention and said "untouchable".

Totally confused myself on prime numbers. Considered Hugenots on Friday, but flipped a coin and went with the more generic Protestants.

In his autobiographical Speak, Memory Nabokov refers to "Vivian Bloodmark, a philosophical friend of mine." Darkbloom is Clare Quilty's collaborator in Lolita.

Wednesday-Friday were all at least quasi-guesses, but luck was on my side and my FJ! streak now stands at 13.
