Nice board, DoT, but it kicked my patoot. Good TOC material, though.

Great stuff - I play in Joon Pahk's simulated baseball league and my team is a team of current and former Senators. GC Perkins is currently a member, so that helped!

Nice job. I'm a Catholic, so I don't really read the Bible, but...I hope I pulled enough out of my years of indoctrination.

Also, I'm embarrassed by that snippet of question post I left in my answer, but I don't want to edit.

Boy, who would have guessed there would be more than one Governor Hickenlooper out there?
"And has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

Lewis Carroll, "Jabberwocky"

I hear ya. Hickenlouper was Pavlovian for Colorado for me. Oops. Never have I been happier to have married into a Catholic family than today. Of course, walking the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem many years ago didn't hurt either. What is very clear from the 8-pointer, though, is that Greek mythology is a much stronger category for me than Christian saints are

Me too, all the while internally cheering for a science category. My whole goal this TOC is to stay out of the cellar, and just maybe to edge out patkav after he most unceremoniously shoved me out of the way on his rush for the TOC

She!

Uhhh. I'm sorry. My enthusiasm sometimes overwhelms my basic politeness. No injuries, I hope?

No worries! No particular reason you should have known that. And it's true (it seems) that most who us the name Pat are male.

Someone should do a comedy sketch about how the name Pat is a unisex name. Seems like there's a lot of potential there!

Maybe they could work Terry in somehow.

Good idea, but I'll have to ask my significant other Chris about it.

They teach great physics!

EDIT: Rafferty told me this looked like trashtalk. It was literally a throwaway joke without having looked at any responses! Please forgive me if that was easily misunderstood.

Schizophrenic day for me: Whisk(e)y was a cakewalk and 18th C art was a slog through Siberia. Whew!
