Earlier this year at a AAA game, I heckled sporadic major leaguer Domonic Brown of the Phillies/IronPigs. He went one-for-four, then stared directly at me and scowled. He's unemployed now, and I feel partially responsible, and I"m proud of that, dammit. No apologies here.caknuck wrote:I'd like to apologize to Adrian Beltré for heckling him all those long years ago.

Given some of the discussions over the last couple of days, I'm not sure I should admit this, but I get a fit of the giggles every time I watch this.BennyBXB wrote:Earlier this year at a AAA game, I heckled sporadic major leaguer Domonic Brown of the Phillies/IronPigs. Hey, I went to a show during that same run! One of my anecdotes on my J! paperwork under the part that asked for "any brushes with celebrity" was a very literal answer regarding the time Dick Cavett accidentally backhanded me while doing the Time Warp. TPTB didn't go for that for some reason...MitchO wrote:Don't, I bet he deserved it.caknuck wrote:I'd like to apologize to Adrian Beltré for heckling him all those long years ago.
Dick Cavett once told me to "shut the f**k up" at a Broadway showing The Rocky Horror Show, but I sleep at night convincing myself that he was in character as The Criminologist.

Reminds me of one of the rugby kickers. I think it was Owen Farrell (whose name might mean something to two of you). Any time he went to line up a kick, just before he approached the ball, he would almost squat, like he was getting ready to take a dump. I'll see if I can dig up some video.Linear Gnome wrote:I'm not sure I should admit this, but I get a fit of the giggles every time I watch this.
ETA: Nope, it was Rob Cook (although Farrell does have a quirk of looking the ball between the posts about 6 times before he kicks, but he's one of the best, so whatever works).
